Yes — completely. There is no citizenship or residency requirement to own a US LLC. Non-residents from any country (except sanctioned nations) can form and own a US LLC. Over 1,300 of our clients from 40+ countries have done exactly this. You do not need to visit the US, have a US address, or hold any US status.
💡 Your LLC’s registered agent provides the required US address — included in our service.
Wyoming — Our top recommendation for most non-residents. No state income tax, strong privacy (members not publicly listed), low annual fee ($62/year), and well-regarded by banks.
Delaware — Best if you plan to raise venture capital or need investor-friendly legal structure. Delaware courts are well-established for business disputes. Higher costs ($300+ franchise tax/year).
New Mexico — Cheapest option in the US. No annual report required, strong privacy, very low formation cost. Ideal if minimizing ongoing costs is your priority.

No. The entire LLC formation process is 100% remote. You send us a copy of your passport and your preferred LLC name via WhatsApp. We prepare and file all documents electronically with the Secretary of State. You receive your formation certificate digitally. No travel, no notarization, no in-person requirements.
A Registered Agent is a person or company with a physical US address in your LLC’s state who receives official legal and government documents on your behalf. Every US state legally requires LLCs to have one. Since you’re based outside the US, we appoint a professional registered agent service. The first year is included in our formation packages. Renewal is typically $50–$150/year depending on the state.
Yes. An LLC can be single-member (just you) or multi-member (2+ owners from any country). The tax treatment differs — a single-member foreign-owned LLC files Form 5472, while a multi-member LLC files Form 1065. The Operating Agreement we draft outlines each member’s ownership percentage, profit/loss share, and management rights.
You’ll receive:
- Articles of Organization (stamped by Secretary of State)
- Operating Agreement (signed PDF)
- Registered Agent confirmation
- EIN confirmation letter (CP575) — if EIN is part of your package
- Compliance calendar with upcoming filing deadlines
For most non-resident entrepreneurs, an LLC is far better. LLCs have: pass-through taxation (profits taxed once at personal level), flexible management structure, minimal formalities (no board meetings, no corporate minutes required), and easier ongoing maintenance. Corporations (C-Corp or S-Corp) are better for startups seeking US venture capital — but S-Corps can’t be owned by non-residents. We recommend LLC for 95% of our international clients.
Yes. You can file an Amendment with the Secretary of State to change your LLC name, registered agent, management structure, or purpose. We handle amendments for all US states. Note: changing the name does not change your EIN — that stays the same. We handled a real Texas LLC amendment (Form 424) for one client as part of their full lifecycle filing.
Your LLC needs a registered agent address in its formation state — which we provide. Your personal mailing address can be your home address outside the US. Some banks ask for a “principal place of business” — this can be your home country address. You do not need to rent US office space or a virtual office unless you specifically want one for a particular bank’s requirements.
An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is a 9-digit tax ID issued by the IRS for your business — like a Social Security Number but for your LLC. You need it to: open a US business bank account, activate Stripe or PayPal business accounts, file US taxes, sign vendor contracts requiring a W-9, and hire US employees. Without an EIN, your LLC exists legally but can’t function operationally.
Yes — and this is exactly what we specialize in. Non-residents without an SSN apply using Form SS-4, submitted to the IRS by fax or mail (online applications require SSN/ITIN). We prepare the form correctly, submit it to the IRS, track the application, and deliver your EIN letter when issued. Typical timeline: 1–4 weeks.
💡 If you have an ITIN, the process can sometimes be faster via the IRS international phone line.
EIN = tax ID for your business entity (your LLC). Used for banking, Stripe, PayPal, and business tax filings (Form 5472, 1065). Format: XX-XXXXXXX.
ITIN = tax ID for you personally. Used when you (as an individual) need to file a US personal tax return (Form 1040NR) or when platforms require your personal tax ID. Format: 9XX-XX-XXXX. Most non-residents eventually need both, but in a specific order — EIN first for banking, ITIN later for personal tax filing.

For non-residents without an SSN, EIN applications are submitted via fax or mail. IRS processing time is typically 1–4 weeks. We submit immediately after LLC formation is complete and track the application throughout. We’ll notify you the moment your EIN letter arrives.
The IRS states 6–11 weeks, but actual times vary. One of our clients applied on February 2 and received their ITIN on April 10 — just 9 weeks, beating the IRS’s own estimate. We tell clients to expect 9–16 weeks to be safe. Peak processing times (January–April, tax season) can be slower.
💡 We monitor your application and follow up with the IRS on your behalf throughout the process.
EIN — Never expires. Once issued, it is permanently assigned to your LLC for its entire life, even if you change the name or structure.
ITIN — Expires if not used on a federal tax return for 3 consecutive tax years. Some older ITINs (issued before 2013 with middle digits 70–88 or 90–99) may have already expired and require renewal. Contact us if you’re unsure about your ITIN’s status.

For business accounts (Airwallex, Wise Business, Relay) — No. These fintech banks use your LLC’s EIN, not your personal ITIN. For traditional US bank personal accounts (Bank of America, Chase) — some accept ITIN. For business accounts at traditional banks — typically requires in-person visit plus SSN/ITIN, which is why we recommend fintech options for non-residents.
Yes. If you already have an ITIN, you can use it as the responsible party’s tax ID on Form SS-4, which allows the IRS to process it faster via phone (IRS international line: +1-267-941-1099). Without an ITIN or SSN, the only option is fax/mail which takes 1–4 weeks. We’ll advise on the best approach based on what you currently have.
Mercury — Good for US residents, but approval for non-residents is inconsistent and country-dependent. Works well for clients from UK, Canada, UAE, and parts of Europe. High rejection rates for Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, and many other markets.
Relay — Good alternative to Mercury. Multiple sub-accounts, team access, no fees. Similar country restrictions to Mercury.
Airwallex — Multi-currency, better country coverage than Mercury/Relay. Excellent for international businesses receiving payments in multiple currencies.
Wise Business — Multi-currency account widely available globally. Easy to open, great for international transfers.
Payoneer — Available in almost every country. Widely accepted by US platforms and marketplaces.

💡 Tell us your country and we’ll tell you immediately which option has the best approval chance for you.
Mercury is primarily built for US residents. For non-residents, approval is inconsistent and heavily country-dependent — regardless of how perfect your application is. Non-residents from Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, Bangladesh, and most African and Middle Eastern markets face high rejection rates. Our honest recommendation: start with Airwallex or Wise Business — both purpose-built for global businesses with far better non-resident approval rates. If you want Mercury specifically and you’re from the UK, Canada, UAE, or Western Europe, it’s worth trying. Message us your country and we’ll tell you immediately what works.
⚠️ Don’t start with Mercury if you’re from a restricted country — go to Airwallex or Wise Business first and save the time.
No — for all our recommended banking partners (Airwallex, Wise Business, Relay, Wise Business, Payoneer). All allow fully online account opening without a US visit. Traditional banks like Chase or Bank of America typically require in-person visits for non-residents, which is why we don’t recommend them.
Yes — this is one of the main reasons our clients choose Mercury. Once your account is open, you can connect Stripe, PayPal, Wise, and most other payment processors directly to receive and send funds. Stripe requires a US LLC + EIN + US bank account — once you have all three through us, you can activate Stripe from most non-US countries.
We route you to the best available alternative based on your country:
- Airwallex — broader country coverage than Mercury, excellent multi-currency support
- Wise Business — available in almost every country where Mercury is blocked
- Payoneer — one of the widest global coverages, works for most restricted countries
- NSAVE — emerging option for underserved markets including some African and Middle Eastern countries
With complete, correctly formatted documents — typically 2–5 business days for Mercury, similar for Relay. The main delay is usually waiting for the EIN to appear in IRS systems (1–2 weeks after issuance before banks can verify it). We time your bank application to avoid this issue.
Yes. Mercury supports international wires (SWIFT) to most countries. You can also connect Wise to your Mercury account for cheaper international transfers. Many clients maintain their USD balance in Mercury for business use and transfer profits periodically via Wise for the best exchange rates. Mercury does not charge for incoming transfers or standard ACH — international wire fees apply for outgoing wires.
Form 5472 is an IRS information return that must be filed annually by every foreign-owned single-member US LLC. It reports transactions between the LLC and its foreign owner (contributions, distributions, loans, expenses). Missing this filing results in a $25,000 penalty per year per form. The IRS does not send reminders — they just issue the penalty. One of our clients came to us with a $5,000 IRS penalty on their multi-member LLC. We got the first-year penalty waived. File on time — every year.
⚠️ Even a zero-activity LLC may have reportable transactions (e.g., your initial capital contribution). When in doubt, file.
It depends on where your income comes from. If your LLC only earns income from non-US sources (foreign clients, foreign services performed outside the US), you generally do not owe US income tax. If your LLC earns Effectively Connected Income (ECI) from US sources or has US-based employees, you may owe US tax. You still need to file Form 5472 regardless. We assess your specific situation when you contact us.
As of March 2025, US-formed LLCs are exempt from BOI/FinCEN reporting under the current federal court ruling that struck down the Corporate Transparency Act’s enforcement. You do not need to file BOI at this time. We monitor any legal developments and notify all clients if this status changes.
Act now — don’t wait for an IRS notice. We handle retroactive filings for prior years. If you file before the IRS contacts you, there’s a much stronger case for first-time penalty abatement (which can eliminate the $25,000 penalty for your first missed year). If you’ve already received a notice, we help with reasonable cause penalty abatement requests. The sooner you act, the better your options.
💡 Contact us on WhatsApp with your LLC details. We’ll assess your exposure and tell you exactly what it’ll cost to get clean.
State requirements vary:
- Wyoming — Annual report + $62 fee, due on anniversary month
- Delaware — No LLC annual report, but $300 franchise tax due June 1
- Texas — Public Information Report + franchise tax, due May 15
- New Mexico — No annual report required
- New Hampshire — Annual report due April 1
Form 1040NR — For non-US residents with US-sourced income or required to file by tax treaty. Most common for our clients.
Form 1065 — For multi-member LLCs (2+ owners). Reports partnership income and issues K-1s to each partner. Due March 15.
Form 1040 — For US residents or resident aliens reporting worldwide income.
Form 990 — For US non-profit organizations exempt from income tax.
Form 1065 — For multi-member LLCs (2+ owners). Reports partnership income and issues K-1s to each partner. Due March 15.
Form 1040 — For US residents or resident aliens reporting worldwide income.
Form 990 — For US non-profit organizations exempt from income tax.
For income tax (1040NR/1065) — possibly not, if you had no US-sourced income. For Form 5472 — you may still need to file if you had any reportable transaction, including initial capital contributions. For state annual reports — yes, regardless of income. We assess your exact obligations when you contact us — don’t assume zero activity means zero filing requirements.
Franchise tax is a state fee for the privilege of doing business in that state — not an income tax. Key examples:
- Delaware — $300/year minimum (due June 1)
- Texas — 0.375%–0.75% of revenue above $2.47M threshold (most small LLCs owe $0 in tax but still must file)
- California — $800/year minimum (why we rarely recommend CA for non-residents)
- Wyoming / New Mexico — No franchise tax
- Form 5472 + pro-forma 1120 — April 15 (extension to October 15 via Form 7004)
- Form 1040NR — April 15 (automatic 2-month extension for non-residents = June 15; further extension to October 15)
- Form 1065 (Partnership) — March 15 (extension to September 15)
- State Annual Reports — varies by state, we track yours
Yes — state filing fees are included in all our formation packages. What you see is what you pay. No surprise government charges added at checkout. This includes the Secretary of State filing fee and first-year registered agent service. The only additional costs you might have are state-specific franchise taxes or annual report fees that come due in subsequent years — we’ll tell you about those upfront.
We accept:
- Wise — preferred for international transfers, best exchange rates
- PayPal — widely available
- Payoneer — good for clients already using Payoneer
- USDT / Crypto — accepted (TRC-20, ERC-20)
- Bank Transfer — for larger payments
We do not offer refunds once state filing has been submitted, as government fees are non-refundable. If you have concerns before we file, contact us immediately. We work hard to get things right the first time and will correct any errors on our end at no additional charge. For service issues, contact us directly at info@epicsdeals.com or via WhatsApp.
For larger packages (Premium or bundled services), we can discuss a split payment arrangement. Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll work something out. We understand our clients are global entrepreneurs building from scratch — we’re flexible where we can be.
Yes — and we’re upfront about them:
- Registered agent renewal — $50–$150/year after the first year (included in formation)
- State annual report / franchise tax — varies by state ($0–$300+/year)
- Form 5472 filing — annual IRS filing (part of our compliance service)
- State income tax — most states where we form LLCs have zero state income tax for non-residents
Basic ($149) — If you already have an EIN or only need the LLC formation certificate for now.
Standard ($299) — If you want the complete setup: LLC + EIN + US bank account guidance. This is what most clients choose.
Premium ($549) — If you want everything including ITIN, first-year annual compliance, Form 5472, and bookkeeping setup.

Everything happens through WhatsApp. We message you at every milestone: when documents are filed, when the state confirms formation, when EIN is submitted, when it’s received, and when your bank application is submitted. You never have to chase us for updates — we proactively keep you informed throughout.
Some states offer expedited processing for an additional state fee. Wyoming, Delaware, and New Mexico all have express options that can reduce formation time to 1–2 business days. We’ll let you know the expedite fee for your chosen state when you enquire. Note: EIN processing is controlled by the IRS and cannot be rushed — the 1–4 week timeline is fixed.
We check name availability with the Secretary of State before filing. If your first choice is taken, we’ll notify you immediately and work with you to find an available alternative. We typically suggest 2–3 similar variations. The name must be unique within the state — the same name may be available in a different state if you’re flexible on formation location.
Yes — in most cases. When a state administratively dissolves your LLC (for missing annual reports, franchise tax, or other requirements), you can apply for reinstatement by catching up on all outstanding filings and paying accumulated fees. We handle this for all US states. Real client result: “My Texas LLC was dissolved and I tried a couple of places before, but no one was really able to sort it out properly. Then I came across Epics Deals… Now my LLC is active again.”
💡 WhatsApp us your state + LLC name — we’ll check status within minutes and tell you what’s needed.
Typically 7–21 business days, depending on the state’s processing speed and how many outstanding filings need to be caught up. Texas and Wyoming are usually faster; some states like California can take longer. We submit everything simultaneously to minimize turnaround time.
In most states, yes — but there are time limits and the costs increase with each missed year. Some states allow reinstatement within 5 years of dissolution; others have shorter windows. Beyond the window, you’d need to form a new LLC (with a new EIN). Contact us with your state and dissolution date — we’ll tell you immediately what’s still possible.
Yes. Your EIN is a federal tax ID issued by the IRS — it is permanently assigned to your LLC and does not get revoked when a state dissolves your LLC. Once reinstated at the state level, your existing EIN is fully valid for banking and tax purposes. You do not need to apply for a new EIN.
Yes — this is one of our most common requests. We regularly fix: incorrect LLC name or member details filed with the state, wrong EIN applications, missed Form 5472 filings creating penalty exposure, incomplete operating agreements, and botched dissolutions. Send us whatever documents you have and we’ll assess what needs to be corrected and at what cost.
A proper voluntary dissolution involves: filing Articles of Dissolution (or Certificate of Termination) with the state, obtaining tax clearance certificates from the state revenue department, notifying the IRS of LLC closure, and filing a final Form 5472 for the closing year. We handle the complete dissolution process — we completed a full Texas LLC lifecycle for one client including the SOS Certificate of Termination and all required clearances.
Yes. We assist with UK LTD company formation (Companies House registration) and annual compliance — including micro-entity accounts, HMRC Company Tax Return, and Confirmation Statements. We have real client filings on record: UK LTD Company registered at Companies House, HMRC Combined Accounts + Tax Return filed 27 September 2024. Message us for details on UK formation and compliance costs.
Micro-entity accounts (under s.477 Companies Act 2006) are a simplified, minimal-disclosure form of accounts available to small UK companies meeting at least 2 of 3 criteria: turnover ≤ £632,000, balance sheet total ≤ £316,000, ≤ 10 employees. Most of our UK LTD clients qualify. Micro-entity accounts require much less disclosure than full statutory accounts — just a simplified balance sheet with a directors’ statement.
Yes — many of our clients operate both a US LLC (for American clients, Stripe, PayPal, Mercury banking) and a UK LTD (for European clients and British pound invoicing). Each entity has its own compliance obligations. We manage both for you and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Annual accounts (Companies House) — 9 months after your financial year end
- HMRC Company Tax Return (CT600) — 12 months after your accounting period end
- Corporation Tax payment — 9 months and 1 day after accounting period end
- Confirmation Statement — annually, within 14 days of your review date
Currently our primary expertise is US LLC formation and compliance across all US states, and UK LTD company filing. For other jurisdictions, message us on WhatsApp with your specific country — we can advise on options or refer you to trusted partners for UAE, Canada, Singapore, and other business-friendly jurisdictions.
AI tools have made it dramatically easier to run a US business remotely. Key use cases:
- Client communication — ChatGPT, Claude for drafting professional emails, proposals, and contracts in polished English
- Bookkeeping reconciliation — AI-assisted categorization in Wave or QuickBooks reduces month-end work from hours to minutes
- Invoice and proposal generation — tools like PandaDoc with AI, or simple ChatGPT prompts, produce professional documents instantly
- Customer support — AI chatbots handle FAQs and initial enquiries 24/7, even across time zones
- Market research — AI tools research US client markets, competitors, and pricing without expensive consultants
Wave + AI — Wave is free and integrates with Mercury. Its AI-assisted categorization auto-sorts your transactions. Best for solo founders and small teams.
QuickBooks Online — More powerful, with AI-powered cash flow predictions, receipt scanning via the mobile app, and bank rules that automatically categorize recurring transactions.
Dext (Receipt Bank) — AI that scans and extracts data from receipts and invoices, feeds directly into QBO or Xero.
We set up whichever platform you choose and connect it to your Mercury or Relay account for automatic transaction import.

AI can draft strong first versions of standard business documents — service agreements, NDAs, independent contractor agreements, client onboarding letters, and terms of service. Tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Ironclad AI are particularly good at this. However, for complex contracts, high-value agreements, or anything involving US litigation risk, we recommend having a US attorney review the final version. AI drafts save significant legal fees — but don’t fully replace a lawyer for high-stakes documents.
⚠️ Epics Deals provides document preparation services, not legal advice. We are not a law firm.
- LinkedIn outreach — AI tools like Clay + ChatGPT generate hyper-personalized connection messages at scale
- Upwork proposals — AI drafts tailored proposals in seconds based on job descriptions; human review before sending
- Cold email — Apollo.io + AI writes targeted cold emails to US decision-makers with your offer
- Content marketing — Claude/ChatGPT creates US-market-focused blog posts, LinkedIn content, and case studies that attract inbound leads
- SEO content — AI-generated, human-edited content ranks on Google and brings passive US client enquiries
Yes — and this is one of the highest-ROI uses of AI for non-resident business owners. Tools like Tidio, Intercom, and Crisp with AI chatbots can handle common customer questions 24/7 regardless of your time zone. WhatsApp Business with AI integrations can manage initial client enquiries automatically. For more advanced setups, voice AI agents (like those built on OmniDimension) can handle inbound calls and qualify leads automatically — we’ve built and configured these ourselves.
AI is increasingly useful for tax organization — not yet reliable for actual filing. Useful tools:
- QuickBooks + AI — auto-categorizes transactions, generates P&L and balance sheets ready for your tax preparer
- ChatGPT / Claude — excellent for understanding what forms you need, what’s deductible, and what questions to ask your accountant — but verify everything with a professional
- Dext — AI receipt scanning keeps your expense records organized throughout the year
⚠️ Never use AI alone to file US tax returns — errors can trigger penalties. Use AI to organize, humans to file.
As AI enables more sophisticated fraud, non-resident US business owners face specific risks:
- IRS phishing — The IRS only contacts you by mail, never by email or phone first. Any email claiming to be the IRS about your LLC is a scam.
- Fake formation services — AI-generated fake websites mimic legitimate formation services. Verify by checking Secretary of State databases directly.
- Business email compromise — Use 2FA on all accounts (Mercury, Stripe, Gmail). Never wire money based on email instructions alone without verbal confirmation.
- AI voice fraud — Scammers clone voices using AI. Any unexpected urgent request for payment — even from a voice that sounds familiar — should be verified via a second channel.
